This is the first time that we will host an awards event dedicated entirely to beauty, and it is a reflection of the innovation and importance of the Australian beauty industry. The new Prix de marie claire de la Beauté awards will enable us to celebrate the outstanding beauty products launched every year.

The highly coveted international Prix d'Excellence Awards, which are held annually, will also be celebrated at this event. As well as the Prix d'Excellence, the Prix de marie claire de la Beauté awards, will recognise outstanding beauty products locally, as voted by both marie claire experts and readers.

The new Prix de marie claire de la Beauté Awards will now be held in addition to the existing Prix de marie claire fashion and beauty awards, which are held every two years - with the next event scheduled for 2011.

A panel of expert judges, selected by marie claire for their knowledge and expertise, along with the marie claire beauty team will decide the finalists for each category according to the criteria set out in this form. marie claire readers will then vote for the winners.

Please note, the Prix d'Excellence Awards will be both nominated and judged by a marie claire international panel, so there is no call for entries in this case.

The Prix de marie claire de la Beauté and Prix d'Excellence winners for 2010 will be announced at a glamorous ceremony early in 2010. The full list of finalists will appear on the marie claire website and winners will be published in the magazine.
