I have tried, and tried, and tried, to enter NZ competion, each time comes up error, please try again, as this is the last day, I am at a loss. As my daughter -in-law is Maori, we were hoping (if lucky enough to have won) to have given to her as honeymoon present. Very disappointed with with site.

Am I right in thinking that natural-looking eyebrows are coming back into fashion? If so, it's about time! Ladies, let's get rid of the over-plucked, over-arched style that has been ruining your faces for decades(think actress Jackie Weaver). Actor Robin Williams calls it the "Permanent look of astonishment", and it makes you look as if you have seen a ghost. The most ridiculous style is to pluck out every hair and pencil in a thin line, giving a "robot" look. Natural beauty is always the best(just a man's opinion).

Bravo Marie Claire. I have bought every issue since the magazines inception. However this is the first time in over 10 years that I have felt compelled to write in. As soon as I saw the cover with Jennifer Hawkins I realised what it was - an unretouched photo and I rejoiced! I think it's one of the first times I have seen a media image of a model and not be made to feel a freak in comparison. I'm not even a fan of Jennifer's, but I might just be made to convert. Well done MC and JH. Hopefully we'll see more truthful body images in the future and put less pressure on women to live up to an unrealistic ideal.

I was amazed at the outcry over Jennifer Hawkins' picture on the cover of your latest issue. Just because she was given great genes and is "perfect" is not a cause for jealous overweights to complain. She was an unknown until she became Miss Universe, came home and has created a wonderful life for herself, and is still with the same man to boot. Surely those are reasons enough to give her the gong to be an inspiration. I have been at the brunt of jealousies all my life because I was thin and have great skin, so I know where they are coming from. I can only say go Jen, you are gorgeous and an inspiration to any woman young or old.
