On Tuesday night I was part of a team of judges, including Ginger & Smart's Genevieve and Alexandra Smart and Peter Morrissey, who awarded Sydney label Aje the winner of the Chambord Shine Award for 2009.

The trio behind the label, Eddi, Bree and Aje, designed a fun and fabulous gown which featured handsewn pink, champagne and purple sequins and looked very glamorous on the catwalk. Other noteworthy designs on the night were by Ben Smith and Ruby Smallbone. The prize was announced by last year's winner, Carl Kapp.
