Fountain Gate sparkles for Kath & Kim premiere
Those foxy morons Kath Day-Knight and Kim Craig have hit the red carpet for the debut of their big-screen offering –
Kath & Kimderella.
Arriving by Hummer for the premiere at – where else? – Fountain Gate shopping centre in Melbourne’s Narre Warren, all the old favourites were there including Kath, Kim, Brett, Kel, and Kim’s second best friend, Sharon. We can’t wait to see what the girls get up to in the fictional Italian town of Papilloma. The film is in cinemas on September 6.
AFL takes a punt on Siren call
Thumbs up to a trio of Aussie women who are looking to shake up the blokey world of Australian football. This Tuesday (August 28) marks the premiere of the first all-girl footy show,
Sirens, which will be shown on the AFL website. Hosted by former ABC journalist Angela Pippos, comedian Kate McLennan and former Australian netball captain Sharelle McMahon, the show hopes to shake up stereotypes and get some female opinion into the chatter about Aussie rules, and recognise that women make up a fair percentage of the faithful followers. Check it out, Tuesday lunchtime, on
www.afl.com.au.
Hangdog prince in doghouse
Poor Prince Harry. He can’t take a break with revelations his girlfriend Cressida Bonas
has dumped him has dumped over those “humiliating” naked pics taken on a Las Vegas romp. Harry has gone to ground in the UK, especially after reports from the UK’s
Daily Mail that something bigger
is about to be revealed. Though we are loving suggestions the Royal Redhead should have a starring role in
Hangover 3.
