"You should never skip using an SPF, summer or winter," warns Clinique national education manager Alison McBurnie. "Even when it's raining and UVB rays might not be as strong, UVA rays are always present, from sunrise to sunset." Premature skin ageing can arise from incidental sun exposure, caused by not wearing an SPF product. "It's not the very occasional summer sunburn you may get that will cause wrinkles, it's the daily accumulation of damage caused by UVA rays," explains McBurnie. Thankfully, these high-SPF daily face protectors will guard your skin against the sun, and are light enough to wear every day. Think of them as the most effective anti-ageing cream you can buy.
