Remember the '90's catch phrase "it won't happen overnight, but it will happen"? Well it's back with its original spokesperson, New Zealand beauty Rachel Hunter, with her dancing daughter Renee Stewart, 17. Here, we catch-up with the ambassadors of Pantene's new-look, reformulated range.

Rachel, you have a strong brand heritage with Pantene, what is it like to be working on this project together?
Rachel: It was awesome. Pantene were very understanding about Renee wanting to be true to herself, they were willing to incorporate her passion for dancing into the commercial. When people watch it they'll see it's about me passing on my experiences to a younger generation.

Renee: I was really nervous in the beginning, but looking back now, I had a great time.

Why is it important for you both to be involved with Pantene?

Rachel: Hair is so important to women, it's our pride! If you have bad cut, like I did recently, you feel awful.

What is the best beauty lesson your have learnt from your mothers?
Renee: I don't know - have you told me anything??

Rachel: (laughs) I have always stressed the importance of a great moisturiser, drinking plenty of water and staying out of the sun.

What about styling tips? Do you borrow each other's clothes?
Renee: Yeah I borrow a few things. Mostly, basics like tops and jackets.

Rachel: She does cooler things with clothes than me and so she should at her age - she shouldn't be getting tips from me!!

What have you been up to while you've been in Sydney?

Rachel: We've been out to restaurants and visiting friends. Its so stunning here - we've been leaning out of our hotel window taking pictures of the view, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge!

How do you like to spend your time together?
Renee: At home!
Rachel: We invite your friends over, we cook together, we always enjoy going on a vacation. We are really enjoying this!!
