The look: "We're seeing so many different looks with short hair: crops with a lot of length and weight at the top; undercutting, which is becoming more mainstream; and the bob is always popular," explains Richard Mannah, international artistic director of TONI&GUY. He adds that jaw-skimming styles can be anything from razor-sharp - great for round faces - to having lots of texture, with soft, sexy layers that are perfect for softening angles. Very short crops work best on oval face shapes.
What you need to know: "To get the right look, you need the right products," says Mannah. He also suggests regular trips to the salon every four to six weeks to maintain your new style.
