Get the look:
1. Depending on your hair type, apply a little smoothing lotion or gloss serum and blow-dry until hair is sleek.
2. Using a tail comb, fashion a razor-sharp part, either in the centre or on your favourite side. "The braid itself is very easy, so just keep the sections tidy while you plait to keep it looking smooth," says Hampton. Secure with a clear elastic or one that matches your hair colour.
