Ho has shown at the Art Gallery of NSW every year for the past few years, with the pristine surroundings seemingly the perfect complement to her collection.

But while the blueprint style that Lisa Ho is known and loved for was in full effect, it’s clear that Ho is still delving into new territory, with a distinctly younger aesthetic on show.

Last year, the designer famously refocused the brand’s direction, citing, “it might upset a few people, but at this age I feel I can make these kinds of decisions.”

But fluid fabrics, on-trend monochromes and bold prints ensured the 2013 collection remained modern and effortlessly stylish.

“Great easy dressing at Lisa Ho,” said marie claire’s editor/publisher, Jackie Frank.

Alongside the evening gowns that Lisa Ho is renowned for sat a series of plunging one-piece swimsuits, giving the designer easy entry into the swimwear market.

“We loved the addition of swimsuits in amongst the gorgeous gowns and perfect party dresses,” commented marie claire’s fashion market editor, Bree McDonald.
