What is more important, talent or drive?
Drive. Unless you have the drive to succeed, all the talent in the world won't help you.

On a scale of one to ten, how significant a role does luck play when it comes to success?
Two. Sometimes you get lucky because you are in the right place at the right time, but more often than not, you make your own luck.

Which is more critical, the idea or the execution?
Execution. Ideas are the catalyst but the execution of them is what makes you a success.

Is it better to be passionate or objective?
Passionate. I couldn't turn up to work if I didn't feel passionate about what I do.

What one trait has helped you most in business?
I have always had an incredible desire to succeed. That keeps me going after others have given up.

What is the one trait that has hindered you most in business?
My public profile. I have to push myself with this, as I really prefer to stay under the radar.

What is the hardest lesson you've learned and how did you learn it?
Not delegating enough. I ended up in hospital with exhaustion. Now I have an amazing general manager who has saved my life.

What is the one piece of advice you would offer other women in business?
Find a charity that you believe in and work out how you can help. It will motivate you to achieve extraordinary things when you are helping others in need.

What are the biggest mistakes you see women making in business?
Putting money first. Balance is the most important thing in making you successful.
