1.5tsp baking powderOrange cardamom sauce
Boil oranges whole for an hour, deseed if needed and blend (skin on) until pureed.
Whisk eggs and sugar until thick and pale (or use electric mixer), then add almond meal and baking powder and stir gently with a spatula to combine.
Add orange puree, then pour the mixture into a round baking tin and bake for 40 minutes at 150c.For the sauce, put all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to the boil then simmer until thick. Serve warm with cake and good yoghurt or cream.
