Recent studies have suggested that lobster and other shellfish can feel pain - which makes their death by boiling a grisly one. Some high-end restaurants have been reported to offer live lobster sashimi, where the diner choose their lobster from a tank before it is served immediately, slit down the middle and squirming.

ReplyAfter reading this why can't we cook lobsters in cold water to begin with and that way they won't die such a horrific death.
