Frozen juice and smoothie lollies are low in calories, but not in price. Instead, make your own at home with fruit pulp, a teaspoon of sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice.

When I was little my mum would just put juice in, nothing else. Cause that is all you need.

Don't use sugar - use a heaped tablespoon of vanilla yoghurt with the fruit puree then gently fold through for a marbled effect before popping in the sticks- my kids love them and they are so healthy they can eat them for breakfast and they think they are getting a treat
