Yahoo Lifestyle Fears for Victoria's Secret model
Only a few weeks ago Victoria’s Secret was the subject of ridicule for their sloppy Photoshop jobs, which practically erased a model’s thighs and literally deleted another’s arm.
The joke has been taken a bit too far, as one of the brands signature models, Candice Swanepoel, shocked onlookers today as she uncovered her gravely gaunt figure.
Although the lingerie brand was once famous for choosing ‘curvy’ models to advertise their apparel, Swanepoel appears to be beyond emaciated.
Modeling a new swimwear range at The Mondrian hotel in Los Angeles, Swanepoel seemed displaced alongside fellow Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima.

According to The Daily Mail, Swanepoel “stood out with her pencil thin legs and concaved stomach [and] also appeared noticeably slimmer around the jaw line.”
The blonde South African beauty made the ever-slender Alessandra look larger (not exactly an easy feat!) and heightened the crowd’s awareness to the meat on Adriana’s bones – not that there’s a lot, especially with her new and improved post-baby bod!
Candice is scarily smaller than she was in just January this year, when she led the Victoria’s Secret’s Valentine’s Day line. Her once sexy-curves have dissolved into obscurity.
The company has received much criticism in recent years, as they have replaced the voluptuous models that initially made the brand so famous.
The company has boasted a string of beauties that have supported a fuller figure, but it seems that the days when Victoria’s Secret Angels proudly sported cleavage, lusty legs and busty backsides have passed.
Renowned supermodels Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks are a few of the brands former signature faces (and bodies!).
How times have changed.
