Grammys red carpet wrap

Paris Hilton
White certainly was dominant on the Grammy's red carpet and Paris certainly stole the show with this trend. I absolutely love the panelled gold accents on this dress. The wide shoulders and waist defining metal belt create the illusion of a hourglass shape and the soft feminine hemline add to the understated sexy style of this dress. A definite winner! Special mentions should also go to Carrie Underwood and Malin Akerman in white.
Katy Perry
This dress is a bit frou frou for me. The shape at the top of this dress really works but the skirt starts too high at the waist and makes her look short. The colour works and would look even better if she did the roots of her hair! Make this dress fitted and to the knee and it could really be something.
Adele
For such a bright star this Georgio Armani dress is a bit dull. The jewelled highlights and embossed lace print makes for a pretty fabric but the shape does nothing for her. I'd love to see Adele embracing and enhancing her gorgeous womenly curves in a rouched figure flattering dress. I'd also like to see her in more colour, let's see one red carpet look that isn't dominated by black!
Fergie
This could have been so good, but it just wasn't meant to be. I love the orange, bold colours and lace are so in right now, but not with black underwear. A nude underlay would have made this look pop and showcased Fergie's chunky gold accessories and beautiful simple make up.
Kelly Osbourne
I never thought I'd say this, but Kelly Osbourne has proved that you can successfully match your hair and your lipstick! This dress screams old Hollywood glamour with a contemporary twist. The nude and silver compliment her complexion and the shape is simply hot. True rock royalty owning her tiara.
Nicki Minaj
What can one say? Challenging Lady Gaga in the "Fashion" stakes, and winning hands down on this occasion, Nicki's appearance in a devilish red complete with the Pope as her date leaves this Stylist speechless. I guess for this look we could describe this rappers outfit as simple?
