The Faders (Milly & Sui) are a female DJ duo currently taking Australia's party circuit by storm and have already supported major artists such as N*E*R*D and Good Charlotte, plus are ready to hit the decks for this summer's hottest festivals such as Summafieldayze! The girls have also just released their debut album F.U.N. which is a mix of their favourite old-school hip hop and chart party tracks!

Both girls love Oscar Oscar Salons so we spoke to Sui while she was in Chadstone getting her hair makeover before their ARIA's after-party gig last Thursday night (29.11.12).

We spoke to the colour and cutting gurus, Nathan and Jacky from Oscar Oscar Salons in Chadstone about how to recreate Sui's look. Sui has really thick hair, so when I am cutting it I keep the layers long but remove the bulk & a lot of the weight of the hair internally, which makes it easier for Sui to style at home, this also gives her the versatility to wear her hair many different ways", says Jacky Chan, Art Director for Oscar Oscar Salons in Chadstone.

Jacky Chan has styled Sui's hair for numerous events so really knows what suits her style, "When it comes to styling we always try to do something different, such as Beyonce's curls or Victoria's-Secret-style waves, we just try to make sure her look is fun and youthful to suit her personality! We also like to use Redken Guts when styling Sui's hair because it is easy to mould and also helps her style last, plus we always finish her look with Redken Fashion Work hairspray."

Sui has also recently requested blonder hair, "We try to reference celebrities that have similar skin tones such as Beyonce and we have been using a combination of techniques such as foils and balayage in tones such as cool caramel and honeycomb blondes. Our next celebrity style inspiration comes from Rita Ora, so we will be taking Sui to a creamy blonde," said Nathan Armagnacq, Technical Director for Oscar Oscar Salons in Chadstone.
