Television host, model and all-round fashionista Alexa Chung has caused a frenzy on social media after she was spotted wearing the latest rock chick nail trend. The 28-year-old model sported the new type of nail art at the British Fashion Awards on November 27 and tweeted, “Aaaaannnnnndddd thanks @nailsinc for my leather nails! #kinky (sic)”
The ‘Bling It On’ black leather and skulls nail art from Nails Inc as worn by Alexa isn’t available until December 13, but the waiting list already has 870 eager customers and rising.

Alexa’s fashionista status continues to grow as she picked up the ‘Style Icon’ award at the British Fashion Awards last week for the third time. She has also inspired a top-selling bag by Mulberry, appropriately named the ‘Alexa’ bag.
