Adriana Lima is a veteran of the Pirelli Calendar, the annual calendar shoot featuring the world's top models in various states of undress. But the 2013 edition will be different for Lima: the Brazilian model is posing naked, while pregnant.
ANDRIANA LIME PREGNANT WITH HER SECOND
The calendar is famous for its limited availability, as it is only given as a corporate gift to a restricted number of important Pirelli customers and celebrity VIPs. The Pirelli Calendar is perhaps the world's only prestigious and exclusive "girly" calendar, featuring pictures generally considered glamour photography including artistic nudes.

ADRIANA LIMA'S PREGNANCY STYLE
Adriana will be the first woman to pose for the Pirelli calendar, while pregnant. However, she won't be the first pregnant mother to pose nude, several stars, including Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson have graced magazine covers exposing their nude bellies.
PREGNANT CELEBRITIES POSING NUDE
In recent years, the Pirelli calendar has upped the A-list ante: last year's calendar, shot by Karl Lagerfeld, featured Julianne Moore with its Greek goddess motif. And 2010's Pirelli, shot by Terry Richardson, showed off the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Miranda Kerr and Lily Cole.

pregnant is beautiful, should be more of it
ReplyEventually this fascination with pregnant women, who have this need to present themselves to the public in various ways to highlight their developing pregnancies, will subside and life will return to normal,hopefully....A woman with child is a beautiful thing - sure - but what about the poor dude who made it it all happen? Does he get any kudos???Of course not.The universe is now under complete rule of the squatting species.I am moving to a more male-friendly planet.
Replyathletes make the best models ..... get off the couch you slobboes . Athletes should be able to make a dollar anyway they want ... without journalists earning their dollars by commenting about morals of this activity .... they, especially, editors in this country since last federal election .. have no morals.
Replythis calendar is not about mums, babies and pregnancy so I really don't understand the stupid decision to feature her pregnant. There are some things naturally out of bounds for pregnant women and this should be one of them. Lets be hinest pregnancy is not sexy or alluring or mysterious and this callendar should be all those things!!!
ReplyRobert.....I guess we should have heard of her then.....but what else does she do beside stand up straight, walk without a smile and look pretentiously cool!?
