One month after giving birth, Beyonce made her first public appearance during the week. Days later the usually private couple have released photos of their new-born daughter, Blue Ivy.

They set up a Tumblr in honour of their daughter, called 'Blue Ivy Carter', sharing several moments as well as a message, "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family."

Blue has already made music history, and is in the process of having a her name trademarked.

The five pictures displayed show some solo shots of Blue, all wrapped up in her baby blanket, along with a shot with mama and another photo with daddy. And, of course, the classic picture of her teeny-tiny hand holding Beyoncé's.
