The actor tore his Achille's tendon while filming the epic film Troy. Ironically, his character's name in the film is Achilles, but the fight scene that took down this Hollywood hunk was no laughing matter. The scene had to be finished three months later due to the extensiveness of the injury.

No laughing matter,indeed. Acting is a dangerous profession and not even the semi-trailer loads of cash can compensate the deprivations and perils faced by the intrepid players.The slain corpses on the staged battlefields are ample testament to this.Any serious member of the SAS,et al, would not be caught dead in this kind of hell.
