Tina and her husband Colin have wanted to turn this junk room into a nursery for a while for their daughter Daphne

Tina & Colin are parents to a 5 month old (March – 5 months), and have been meaning to fix this room for quite some time so that Daphne can have a room of her own. Tina is an architect, doing some work from home while on maternity leave from an Architectural firm.

Colin is an aeronautical engineer, and he has an interest in flying model aeroplanes. He also fly’s real planes occasionally and does aerobatics. Colin currently works as a test engineer DUX hot water. Colin’s work is local, which is great for family time, nothing to do with aeroplanes though!

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments. It's really lovely hearing such nice feedback, especially as this project was so close to our hearts! I can not post attachments on this forum, but if anyone would like more detailed drawings of the furniture we designed I have posted these on the front page of my website, so please feel free to google my name and find them that way. The magazine has a great set of instructions, but the full drawings show that you can get a matching toddler bed conversion and change table out of the same quantity of plywood! Enjoy!

What a beautiful renovation! I love the wardrobes and was so pleased to find them in the magazine. Tina where did the wall decals of the hot air balloon come from? Were they taken from the book too? Amazing!
