Decorate the old with the new - Break with convention

Break with convention. Unify the size of picture frames to link disparate subject matter and create a sense of order. Forget the idea of small pictures in small frames, as you can see here, even the smallest images look more important with plenty of mat space around them. Position a sofa underneath, perfectly centred, then, break the symmetry with a small hall table to one side.
