Natural light is the key to a bright and breezy pamper zone.
A hint of of sunshine will instantly give gloomy bathrooms a more spacious, inviting feel. Enhance natural light by expanding the size of an existing window frame with a larger casement or bi-fold. Another option is to utilise dead wall space by adding high-set clerestory windows or louvres, that won't compromise privacy and can be left ajar to help ventilate the room.
When adding or expanding windows isn't possible, consider a skylight; try velux.com.au. Another natural lighting solution is a Solatube dome. Their flexible design allows them to be installed in almost any room, plus they're a great eco choice. Visit solatube.com.au for more details.
