Summer Citrus Salad

Ingredients

3 ruby grapefruit, peeled, pith removed
3 large oranges, peeled, pith removed
1 tbsp caster sugar
1 cinnamon stick
3 tbsp whole mint leaves

Method

1. Cut the grapefruit and oranges into segments and mix in a bowl.

2. Put the sugar, cinnamon and mint in a small pan with 3 tablespoons water and stir over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the cinnamon stick and mint leaves and drizzle the syrup over the fruit.

    This recipe is missing a lot from the recipe in the book, it needs the creme' frache!
