Makes | 24 bars
Ingredients
125g unsalted butter
350g dark brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
350g self-raising flour
300g macadamias, chopped

1 | Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a 27 x 18cm slice pan with baking paper. Put butter, sugar and spices in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat on high for 3 minutes or until light and creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, then beat until smooth. Fold in flour gently.
2 | Put macadamias, chocolate chips, caramel and marshmallow in a large bowl and stir to combine. Fold half this mixture into the batter. I followed this recipe and unfortunately it leaked all over the sides of the sclice tin onto the bootom of the oven even though my slice tin was 29 x 18.5cm. What I salvaged tasted pretty good but would love to know where I might have gone wrong.
