Simple rule of thumb - if you wouldn't put it in the sink with your dishes, don't put it in your dishwasher!

Oh yes, why not put the lot in there, who needs a washing machine for their clothes these days when we have dishwashers.. Undies, socks, dog collars and even used condoms, wack the lot in there, why not wash yourself in there Absolute disgrace.

It is a DISHwasher not a gumboot, thong, garden tool etc etc washer. And yes has BHG forgotten about hygiene

Lynn T, read my mind. I am also not hot on the idea of putting the dogs bowl in, its not all that hard to simply whip it out and rinse it with the garden hose.
