STEP 1

Enlarge the template (above) by 150%. Cut out as many reindeer as needed for the chain length (here, eight reindeer for every Santa).

To make reindeer

STEP 2

For the reindeer, cut the antlers, chest pieces, bodies and heads from brown paper.

To construct

STEP 3

Use the mark (x) on pattern as a guide. Glue chest and antler pieces to reindeer.

STEP 4
Glue brown pom-pom noses on reindeer (make every eighth nose red) and draw eyes using permanent marker.

STEP 5

Bend finished piece into a loop and glue end under the reindeer’s face. Pass next piece through the loop, to make a link, then glue.

To make Santa

STEP 6

Using template, cut out Santa shapes from red paper. Glue a white pom-pom beard and hat trim to the pieces.

STEP 7

Draw eyes on Santa with permanent marker.

STEP 8

Cut out Santa noses from pink paper. Glue in place. Allow to dry.

STEP 9
Bend finished piece in a loop. Glue end under face.
