If you’re planning this type of garden, it’s a good idea to stagger the height of your plants by keeping them in pots and strategically placing them in and among the others. Pots let you provide the plants with a nutritious growing medium and adequate drainage. Also, this allows you to move your tropical plants into the greenhouse or into drier areas when frost and wet weather threatens.
