Pool designs fall into two main camps – straight and formal or flowing and natural. If it’s the latter you’re after, the choice of materials and surrounding plantings is paramount. Consider including elements such as a stacked-stone waterfall and a shallow beach area to blur the edge. Then plant to create a rainforest feel, with banks of lush green along one side, and accent plants, such as strelitzia and palms.
