How to prepare your barbecue:
  • Remember to clean your barbecue every three months
  • Make sure you clean it up after ever use
  • Don’t spend unnecessary money on the barbecue branded chips head to your supermarket and by the unbranded kitty litter. Works the same and cost much less.
  • Buy a gas fuse, it tells you how much gas is left in your tank so you will never run out.
  • Let your barbie heat up for at least 10 minutes before cooking anything on it.

Cooking on your barbecue:
  • Soft sausages need to be pricked with a fork or skewer before being cooked. Firm sausages can go on as is.
  • Porter house and rump steaks are the best for barbecuing. Oil and season before you put on the barbecue.
  • Marinate chicken before cooking otherwise it will burn. Make sure if you have a whole chicken you cut it up.
