   I use a towelling mat and wash it with the towels.

   I always wash mine in the washing machine. on gentle cycle. I make sure just mats only no other stuff mixed in eg towels, dont add fabric softner either or they will not soak up water when you step on them. My mats also have none of that backing stuff. they can not be washed in washine machiine. if you dont want to wash them in the machine. wash with broom and soap powder.

   The mat is in a wet enviroments withgreat warmth for growing fungus and bacteria. its a good idear to get a small mat and wash it with the towels. yay tinia for all the family if you just hoover the mat.
