Items made of plastic, such as toys, are notoriously difficult to glue, with one problem being the super-smooth surfaces of the breaks. You’ll find a number of plastic glues include a preparatory primer/cleaner. Practise how you’re going to join the pieces and hold them first – as the bond is achieved within a few seconds, it’s not the time to change your mind or reposition your hands!
