Christmas tree worth $11 million
Only in Abu Dhabi would you find an $11 million fake Christmas tree. The Emirates Palace Hotel unveiled the Christmas tree standing 40ft high in its gold-leaf bedecked atrium. It may be traditionally decorated with gold bow, baubles, white lights and silver ornaments but it’s the 181 diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires and other precious stones that give it its record value.
