I thought you might like to see a project I finished recently based on instructions in the June 2010 issue of Better Homes and Gardens.

The project was called vivid dreams. I decided to use rainbow colours - brights and pastels.

I was intrigued by the combination of five different sized squares that joined together in a seemingly random way to make this one big square. I found the piecing the most enjoyable part of the project. (I'm a jigsaw puzzler from way back.)

I have given the completed project, which I called Rainbow Patch, to my newest granddaughter, Emily.
