Step by step plans and instructions

Julie Paterson, textile designer and part owner of Cloth: New Australian Fabric, has created this design for a quilt cover. Julie's designs are inspired by her past, her environment and her art background, which includes work with indigenous artists from central Australia.

Once you've learnt how to print your own fabric designs you can go to town and cover everything from lampshades and light coverings to curtains.
