Pot tops make durable plant labels and also mean you won't poke an eye out on a garden stake! We painted these with leftover acrylic craft paint. They're quick and easy to make, so whip up a few for yourself or as a gift for a garden lover.

Here's how:
1. Paint the stakes a bright green and, when dry, wind a short length of wire around one end. Squeeze on some Liquid Nails and glue the stick to the inside of the base of the pot.

There's no need to be too flash with the paint or the writing - rustic is best.
