Decorate your home with these lovely handmade tree accoutrements and framed cross-stitch pieces.

Finished design area: about 6.5 x 8.5cm

Gather your supplies
16-count White Aida (Semco Fabric Pack CFA16.11);
Anchor stranded cotton in 1 (White), 132 (Dark Blue), 131 (blue), 130 (Mid Blue) and 301 Lame;
Metallic thread;
Tapestry needle

Here's how

STEP 1: Tack the horizontal and vertical centre lines of the fabric. Work from the centre out and follow the symbols on the chart to cross-stitch each design. Each square on the chart indicates 1 cross-stitch. Each cross-stitch is worked using 2 strands of Anchor thread over 1 fabric square. Backstitch is worked with 1 strand of thread and French knots are worked with 2 strands of thread. Where indicated on the graph, use 4 strands of Lamé metallic thread to work cross-stitch and backstitch.
