This group of fungal diseases causes dark brown, purple or black sunken markings on leaves, stems, fruit or seeds.

Their common targets are vines, trailing berries, tropical fruit trees and many vegetables.

Control:
Clear weeds away from your plants so they get plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Prune off the dead parts of trees and berry canes. Spray leaves and flowers with a suitable fungicide.

Use only disease-free seeds and rotate vegetable crops.
