Various fungi cause leaf spots on vegetables, fruit trees, house plants and ornamentals. In some cases this is not serious, but vegetables and ornamentals may become stunted and die.

The fungi mostly attack in cool, damp weather.

Control:
Remove and destroy the diseased leaves and get rid of weeds and debris around the plant. Most leaf spots can be controlled with an approved chemical.
