Potassium

Rating:
A potassium (K) deficiency will show up as scorched margins on the leaves with some spotting surrounded by pale zones.

When you buy a bag of fertiliser you will find it lists the elements as NPK - nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium in a ratio around 10:3:10. Potassium promotes general health of the plant and is particularly important to the plant's fruiting and flowering.
