The Water Tube Self-Watering Tree Guard] has the benefits of a conventional tree guard with additional ability to drip water for over 2 weeks. As the water level drops the drip rate progressively slows encouraging the plant to seek other moisture as it becomes established.

Rating:
The Water Tube holds 20 litres of water and releases it at a controlled rate. Extensively tested by Charles Sturt University, the Water Tube will enhance the survival and growth of your plants. Made from heavy gauge recyclable polyethylene and with a field life of at least 2 years, it to be re-used several times.

The benefits are:

  • reduced water consumption
    reduced cost
    reduced maintenance effort
    increased survival rates
    increased growth rates

The Water Tube is particularly suitable where consistent survival results are important, such as establishing a hedge or row of trees, where regular watering is not practical say at a holiday home or other remote location.
