Ethical fashion can include using organic fabrics, re-using textiles or only using factories where workers enjoy fair employment. The environmental impact of transportation and the treatment of animals are other factors taken into consideration. If you want to shop green, look out for very wearable local labels such as Gorman, www.gorman.ws, and Sara Victoria, www.saravictoria.com.au Of course, another way to go eco is to look for great finds at vintage shops or even stores that offer designer recycled goods. You can also recycle your own clothes, or organise a clothes-swap night with friends. It's fun to get together, and you'll save money and reduce your carbon footprint.
