Jennifer Lawrence hit the Oscars red carpet this year with a timeless, classic up 'do that saw her effortlessly steal the limelight (even before she ever-so-gracefully fell up the stairs!).

Colour

Step 1: Natural wispy light pieces have been added around her hairline to give a very subtle yet angelic softness to Jennifer's natural look.

Step 2: To give Jennifer a flawless flow-through from skin to hair, you would look at using a very light Mineral CCT beige blonde toner from O&M.

Step 3: At any red carpet event a clear gloss is needed to seal the hair colour to create thicker strands of hair but also lock in lots of shine.

Style

Step 1: Look at using O&M's Atonic thickening spritz to moisturise the hair while blow-drying it 70 to 80 per cent dry.

Step 2: Layer O&M's Rootaclious root-lift mousse over the top of the hair and continue drying, remembering to smooth the hair away from the face and through mid-lengths to the ends.

Step 3: Using a straightening iron, create bends through the ends of the hair before twisting up into a very loose natural bun. This will create a youthful yet still timeless and classic edge. It's important to seal mid-lengths and ends with a style serum to stop fly-aways but allow any pieces that come out to have a polished finish. Try O&M's Frizzy Logic.
