Jennifer Aniston reportedly uses budget-friendly Vaseline to keep the skin under her eyes wrinkle-free.

While you'd expect that Aniston, 43, would rely exclusively on expensive serums and chemical peels to maintain her youthful appearance, the actor apparently incorporates cheap products into her beauty routine.

The former 'Friends' star is reported to dip her face into iced water each morning to tighten pores.

At the end of the day she is said to spend 30 minutes on a DIY mini-facial, which includes a steam-bath for her face, cleansing, toning and moisturising, a facial massage, and a dab of Vaseline below each eye.

Vaseline has a long history. It was the name given to a product patented by Robert Chesebrough in 1872. The young chemist manufactured his medicinal product from an oilfield byproduct called 'rod wax', which workers had been using as an ointment to treat cuts and burns.

While the inventor Chesebrough promoted his new product as a cure-all, Vaseline has been shown to have no healing properties, but is benficial because it seals wounds.

Aniston, who is currently holidaying in Paris with her boyfriend, American actor Justin Theroux, has more expensive beauty secrets too.
