As the precocious star of MTV reality show ‘Laguna Beach’, bottle-blonde brat Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad was pretty hard to stomach. It wasn’t until spin-off show ‘The Hills’ came along that LC toned down the highlights and earned herself a following. Now that she’s escaped the world of dramality television and ditched the tacky blonde for chic brunette, it will be interesting to see whether she thrives or fades into obscurity.
