We braved a couple of solid storms that hit us on a couple of evenings but they were a welcome change of temperature. You would watch the horizon turn black and then completely engulf our boat making it hard to remember the beautiful hours that had just past. A few rocky nights at sea had all the crew looking for a deserted island to get their sea legs back.
It was a delight for our taste buds this trip. We had a Maldivian chef on the boat that went more traditional and steered away from western style food. For breakfast I discovered a new combo of a thin pancake looking omelet with a specialty of his that was a mixture of mashed coconut and tuna with onions and spices mixed through it… yum. But wait there’s more, then top that with sliced banana. Sounds gross I know but it tasted amazing haha! I tried so many different varieties of fish cooked in every way possible and was introduced to some insane curries. My taste buds were taken on a cultural experience.

Team Roxy
After a full week in paradise with our great crew; sharing waves, deserted islands, tuna/coconut surprise, picturesque moments, jumping off the roof and awesome moments and a whole lot of laughs, it was time to pack up and set my sights on France. Next stop on the World Tour schedule the Roxy Pro Biarritz. So excited woo :)
