The stars appear nude or semi-nude, with privates strategically covered, in the popular annual issue that highlights the perfection of the athletic form.
US women's football goalkeeper Hope Solo graces one of the four covers for this year's issue.
In the past Serena Williams and wheelchair tennis star Esther Vergeer have also appeared as cover stars.
