With a choice of distance (17.5km run, 10km run, 5km run/walk and a 2km kids run) the event boasts a picturesque rural backdrop with bush trails and quiet country roads, scenic views of Mt Macedon and surrounding areas plus a lap around the base of spectacular Hanging Rock (with the exception of the kids run).

After the run, participants are encouraged to make the most of the picnic areas on offer or explore the region further, with its unique villages and natural landscapes.
