Unsightly (and painful) injuries

It’s an unfortunate fact that if you’re a real cyclist it’s not a case of if you’ll crash, but when. Cycling and crashes go together like the birds and the bees. It’s important to remember that love isn’t always pretty, even the love of cycling. Clearly, cyclist Johnny Hoogerland doesn’t need to be told this, after a close encounter with a photographer and a barbed wire fence during the 2011 Tour de France.
