Evan van der Spuy of Team Jeep South Africa got slammed by a red Hartebees while riding through a track at Albert Falls Dam.

The entire incident was filmed by team mate Travis Walker who was following van der Spuy through the track.

A fully-grown red Hartebees usually weighs in the range of 130-150kg. Bulls are often territorial and may have been defending his turf when the incident occurred.

Have been driving around lots in this city and I tell Ya I would love to take out some of those cyclists just like that. We should have some of them around here policing our streets.

There's no such animal called a Hertebees - great journalism. They are called Hartebeest, they can also be called Hertebeest ( Hert is Dutch for deer and beest literally means 'beast').
